What happens at the start of my appointment?
When you arrive, you will check in and be directed to your stylist or barber. Before any work begins, your stylist or barber will have a brief consultation — confirming the service you booked, assessing your hair’s current condition, and making sure the planned result is achievable in this appointment. This usually takes 2–5 minutes and is part of every appointment at The District Salon & Barber.
Can I change my service once the appointment has started?
Small adjustments — like changing how much length comes off, or adjusting the exact fade line — are a normal part of the consultation and are fine to raise as the appointment progresses. A full service change mid-appointment depends on how far along the visit is and whether time permits. If you are uncertain about your service, say so during the initial consultation before anything is done.
What happens after my service is complete?
Your stylist or barber will finish and style your hair, then walk through any product or maintenance notes relevant to your service. This is a good time to ask about at-home care, next-visit timing, and whether you should request the same team member next time.
